The 41st Annual International Icicle Balloon Meet will take place on the 5th and 6th January 2013 at Warren Farm, Savernake Forest, Marlborough, Wilts SN8 3BQ ( Map 174/246653).

The Icicle Meet is informal, unsponsored and open to all balloonists.

Meet to go ahead as always

We have received emails asking if the meet will be cancelled owing to weather and the state of the fields…

We never cancel the meet under any circumstances – briefings will go ahead at 8am both days regardless. Flying will be at pilot’s discretion as always.

The weather itself is encouraging – no more rain, less than 10kts, and a bit overcast!

Hotel accommodation is still available at our Icicle rate – contact the Elcot direct for reservations. Please note that there are only a few remaining tickets available for the Dinner.
