The Icicle Meet is never cancelled as a result of the weather. However with over 6 inches of snow on the ground, the forecast low temperatures for the next few days, and the likelihood of stiff northerlies over the weekend, it seems unlikely that much flying will take place. Not least as pilots will not be able to see what they are landing on in snow covered fields.

Whatever the flying, the social programme at the Elcot Park Hotel will go ahead with a trade exhibition both days and a dinner on the Saturday evening.
