The Elcot Park Hotel Prize Main Flying Task. 6-figure Grid Reference adding up to 39, minimum distance 4 km, tie-break on the most westerly landing. The Newbury Building Society Shield (Keep for 1 year). Plus a meal for 2 people in the Elcot Park Hotel and a polo shirt Richard Parry in G-CHEL was the most westerly. He landed at Avington Manor, near Kintbury, on an island. He subsequently flew on to make his retrieve easier.Runner up Bruce Harris in G-BXZF who landed at Greenham Common.
Gemini Trophy Oldest balloon to fly out of the Field. Wooden Balloon Trophy (Keep for 1 year). Plus small hand carved wooden balloon to keep.

Peter Meecham with G-CFTM, which was the prettiest before the flight, but possibly not by the end! It is a new Cameron C80 with pink/purple vertical pattern
Vic Trimble Trophy Longest Flight from Icicle. Trophy (Keep for 1 year)

Richard Penney in G-KEWT flew 1h 55m covering 75.3km. He landed just East of Godalming in Surrey.
Norman Betts Award Newest Pilot at Icicle Norman Betts Shield (Keep for 1 year).
Plus a case of 3 bottles of wine.
Bruce Harris in G-BXZF, licence issued in June 2010.
Marsh Benham Trophy For Services to ballooning in the Newbury area. Silver Rosebowl, plus a Bottle of Champagne Brian Godding for many years chairman of 3-4-40 Region, recently stood down.
Other Minor Prizes For allowing us to use Warren Farm once again as the venue for the meet. Bottle of whisky James Liddiard

Note: All prizes were given to the winners on the day, or given to someone who can deliver them, except for the Marsh Benham Trophy. This was given to John Green for repairs to the wooden base, and Pete kept the bottle to go with it.
