Marsh Benham Trophy | For Services to ballooning in the Newbury area. | Silver Rosebowl, plus a waistcoat | Awarded to John Green, who used to fly the Gemini balloon. John made the original Gemini Trophy, a large balloon carved from wood, and every year since it has been awarded, probably 35 years, he has also made a small wooden balloon for the winner of that year to keep. He also does repairs to our other trophies as required. |
